The first day of spring is here on March 20th, 2010. What better day to get out of the house and celebrate by running the fantastic, brand new Minneapolis race: Team Ortho Foundation's Get Lucky presented by Kieran's Irish Pub.  It’s a fantastic, chip-timed 7K race which is equal to 4.3 miles.

Team Ortho’s reputation of being a great race organizer with quality giveaways for runners continues for the Get Lucky. Each athlete will receive a Get Lucky hoodie, a beautiful stained glass medal given to you by some very “charming” volunteers, and an exclusive post-race party at the new location for Kieran’s Irish Pub in Block E.

2010 Minneapolis Marathon Training Starts Feb. 20! E-mail

Minneapolis Marathon Training GroupLet us help you get out of the doldrums of winter by joining our training runs for the Minneapolis Marathon and Half Marathon!  Any runner signed up for the Minneapolis Marathon or Half will be able to participate in the training free!  Because Team Ortho Foundation wants you to do your very best on race day, we put together Saturday training runs along the marathon course, fully supported with water, sports drink and gel.

Minneapolis Marathon Training

When:  February 20th (and each Saturday until marathon weekend)

Time: 8:00am

Minneapolis Half Marathon Training

When: April 3rd (and each Saturday until marathon/half marathon weekend)

Thousands of people will be at the start line on race day June 6, 2010 when the gun goes off for the Minneapolis Marathon events. Will you be there? The Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K courses are beautiful and they also have the best gear around.
